Cecchetti Ballet Teacher
Anne’s involvement with dance spans over 35 years, commencing her classical ballet training at the age of 13, firstly with “Shirlene School of Classical Ballet” then later joined “Riga Victoria Dance Academy” in 1983 where she was trained in all genres offered at the time; ballet, pointe, modern and jazz.
Although a late starter to dance, her love of classical ballet saw her pursuit over 20 years of training with RVDA. She was the first student at the school to gain her Cecchetti Advanced 2 certificate (1997) and teaching status; Associate (1992), Associate Diploma (1999).
A qualified and fully registered member of Cecchetti Ballet of Australia, Anne now teaches for many dance schools in Melbourne with many of her students attaining high results in their Cecchetti ballet examination. With over 25 years of teaching experience, Anne enjoys sharing her knowledge, instilling purity and elegance of ballet technique, and thrives on the progress and growth in her students.
Anne looks forward to joining MDC to continue the journey of nurturing the next generation of budding ballerinas.
